Position Summary

Responsible for managing the safe loading and unloading of large and overweight pieces. Loading and unloading items from appropriate trailers, such as lowboy and flatbed trailers required.

Qualified applicants should possess the following (requirements):

HS Diploma or equivalent required.

CDL Driver’s License, Class A with air-brake endorsement.

3 + years of experience of Class A CDL hauling of aggregates and asphalt materials. 3 years' experience with oversize/overweight loads preferred.

Must be a self-motivated team player with ability to work safely alone and with co-workers.

Tanker & Hazmat Endorsements is preferred but not required.

Must be able to operate a standard transmission.

Must have clean Motor Vehicle Record.

Work is outside in varying weather conditions.

Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug/alcohol testing.

Must be willing to travel long distances and work flexible night and weekend hours when required. Willing to work various hours including overtime.

Basic Computer skills required. Computer skills for reporting, information transfer, scheduling and mapping are mandatory.

Pay & Benefits

$24.50-$30, exclusive of benefits or bonuses (discretionary and non-discretionary). The offered base hourly compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience.
