Job Overview

Local Class A CDL Roll-Off Driver | Home Daily | $25–$27/hr

Kansas City Metro | Full-Time | Local Routes | Overtime Available

LOCAL ROUTES. HOME DAILY. NO OTR DRIVING.

American Waste Systems is hiring an experienced Class A CDL Driver for local roll-off routes throughout the Kansas City metro.

Roll-off experience is preferred but not required. We will train an experienced Class A driver with a strong safety record and similar commercial driving experience.

What You'll Do

  • Operate a roll-off truck on local Kansas City metro routes

  • Deliver, swap, and remove roll-off containers

  • Tarp and secure loads

  • Haul material to local landfills and disposal facilities

  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

  • Maintain route paperwork and communicate with dispatch

  • Follow company and DOT safety procedures

    • What We're Looking For

  • Valid Class A CDL

  • 3+ years of commercial driving experience

  • Safe driving record

  • Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded

  • Able to work independently and professionally with customers

  • Willing to learn roll-off operations

    • Preferred experience: Roll-off trucks, 10-speed manual transmissions, heavy commercial vehicles, local hauling, or landfill/disposal operations.

    Schedule

  • Primarily Monday through Friday

  • Home daily

  • No OTR driving

  • Overtime available during busy season

  • Occasional weekend work for local events and festivals

    • Pay & Benefits

    $24–$27/hour based on experience
