Hiring Local CDL Class A Drivers

POSITION SUMMARY:

Dependable CDL Class A Delivery Truck Driver to safely operate a tractor trailer or a box truck to transport produce to and from specified destinations. Transport is both interstate and intrastate. Driver will unload/deliver various products on an assigned route schedule. Using a positive, friendly attitude, driver will build relationships with each customer and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

Full time positions are available.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Maintain interstate Class A Commercial Driver License.

  • Maintain interstate DOT Medical Certificate.

  • Deliver product to scheduled accounts in good condition and within scheduled delivery time following all state and local road regulations.

  • Maintain assigned vehicle in accordance to applicable safety regulations.

  • Must be flexible; overtime hours, working weekends and holidays and the ability to start at a variety of times all are required in order to successfully meet customer needs.

  • Complete truck inspections and record hours of service via electronic log.

  • Pick up any requested supplies or back-hauls from vendors.

  • Follow all Company Policies and Procedures.

    • SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Requires ability to read, write and communicate in English.

  • Requires basic math skills.

  • Must be able to lift, push, or move product weighing up to 100 pounds.

  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

  • Approachable personality and winning attitude is a necessity.

  • Must be 21 years of age.

    • The successful candidate will be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen, and continue to satisfy our drug testing policy if offered employment. We are a Federal Contractor and drug free workplace, which includes a prohibition on marijuana use for all employees.

    Benefits and Pay:

  • We offer a competitive compensation pay packages.

  • $22.00 per hour for home nightly routes.

  • $25.00 per hour for flexible drivers (overnight with possible 1-3 nights a week.

  • Our benefits package includes employee discounts on in-house purchases, medical/dental/vision/life and disability

  • Insurance, paid time off and 401(k).
