**Home Daily – Work Year Round**

This California-based company serves the various business sectors that use the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles to ship and receive container cargo. They also serve high value freight customers utilizing 53’ trailers. They are seeking professional Company Drivers out of the Los Angeles/Long Beach area.

OVERVIEW:

Drivers transport general freight via containers or 53’ trailers for dedicated customers. Runs between ports, local rail yards, distribution centers/warehouses and customers.

General freight but some Hazmat or tanks available if driver has endorsement(s).

Loads requiring endorsements will pay a premium. No touch. Freight is mostly drop & hook, with occasional live load/unload, especially the 53’ trailers.

Day shift is Monday – Friday 7:00 am (or earlier when needed) until typically 4:30 or 5:00pm. Saturday is available for day shift drivers if hours are available. Drivers average 8-12 hours per shift. All hours are paid straight time. Paid port training if needed.

Night shift is Monday – Thursday night 5:00pm until 3:00-4:00am and Saturday 7:00am (unless needed earlier/later) until 4:00 to 5:00pm (typically). Saturday is required. If there is Friday night work, that will be on a voluntary basis. If you work Friday, you will not work Saturday.

TWIC and non TWIC opportunities available. Non TWIC holders are encouraged to apply but must have 53’ trailer experience and pass a background check if no TWIC card.

Excellent Benefits package (company pays 100% of medical, dental, life insurance, hospital plan). Other plans available as well, such as vision insurance, accident plan, critical illness plan, supplemental life insurance, etc. We also offer sick pay, vacation pay, holiday pay, 401K with match, CDL protection plan, etc.

Day shift pay is $29.00 per hour; night shift is $31.00 per hour.

We use CNG automatic trucks and electric trucks.
