Job Overview

J & J Oil is Hiring a Bookkeeper / Office Coordinator

Location: Algona, IA- Remote/Hybrid Available

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

J & J Oil is seeking a reliable and organized Bookkeeper / Office Coordinator to join our growing team in Algona, Iowa. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, professional, and capable of helping manage daily office and bookkeeping operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and office administrative duties

  • Process invoices, payments, and maintain accurate financial records

  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

  • Assist with payroll support and data entry

  • Maintain organized customer files, contracts, and office documentation

  • Provide professional customer service by phone and in person

  • Support daily office operations and internal team communication

  • Assist management with scheduling and coordination tasks

    • Qualifications:

  • Previous bookkeeping and/or office administration experience preferred

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented

  • Comfortable using computers and office software

  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
